Founder
Rwanda Freedom of Speech is a non-profit initiative founded by John B. Simbaburanga (@be_johns), a former Rwanda National Police officer who is now an advocate for free expression.
The organization works to promote and defend the right of every person to speak, share information, and participate in open dialogue without fear.
Our work is guided by the lasting principles of Truth, Justice & Peace.
We believe in seeking and speaking the truth, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable.
Everyone deserves fair treatment, the right to be heard, and equal protection under the law.
Open dialogue and free expression are essential foundations for lasting peace in society.
